Does OnMarket store my online banking credentials?

When paying for securities OnMarket, members have three payment options – BPAY, Payment Express and Direct Debit.

Your online banking credentials are not required to pay via BPAY.

If paying by Payment Express, you will be asked for your online banking credentials by Payment Express, which is a third party payment platform. The sign in process is hosted on Payment Express servers and is external to the OnMarket site and app. For more information refer to the payment express security guide.

If choosing to make the payment by Direct Debit, those details are saved within your investment profile to enable you to pay using the same direct debit details in future.  You only have to fill out the simple online form once, your bank details will not be shared with anyone, see https://www.onmarket.com.au/help-faq/security/

OnMarket will also store your refund banking details once entered (by you) into your investment profile. These bank account details are required to enable us to process refunds from scale-back or funded cancelled applications.  Please note, OnMarket does not have access to enter or edit these details.
