What documents are important when investing in placements?

Usually when a company conducts a placement (which is the issue of new shares), it does not provide a full disclosure document such as a prospectus. The information about whether the issue of new shares is available to sophisticated, professional or experienced investors is explained in the T&Cs of each deal and the More Info section of each offer.

If the company is listed, the company will make an announcement to ASX about the placement and explain what they intend to do with the new funds. Investors should read this announcement and any current research on the company. Placements are usually only open for a short period of time.
